More than meets the eye!

This past Tuesday was cool; my cousin looked out bringing me along to see “Transformers”. Now for those in my “demographic” know how vital this movie is. Damn near 20 plus years later and the name alone still brings excitement. A year ago when they started dropping trailers without words, towards the end of the clip from out the shadows, you’d see the Autobot logo. Grown ass men on dates damn near slapped their ladies. They were just basking in what they just saw. Collectively without words you heard-WHOAAAAH…I’M SO THERE, DUDE (or whatever slang is in use on your side of the map). Once opening night arrived, it was a wrap.

Revamped Transformers hit the big screen(s), directed by Michael Bay (great pacing for a 2.5 hour movie). Action, sharp wit and the welcome addition of black people made this movie one for the whole family to enjoy. I’m not sure if I just penned a review. More to it-I think I just penned an endorsement…GO SEE IT, THIS IS HOW A SUMMER BLOCKBUSTER IS S’POSED TO BE DONE. Oh yeah, for the uninitiated, this movie is still very much accessible. So even if you missed in back in the 80’s, its ok…you’ll still dig it.

Uncle.

Co-sign!

I've already seen it twice and plan to go a 3rd time since my bookie threatened me with something called, "Ratatonie"

I was like, "No thanks. You take the kids to the Rat movie... i'll be next door watching Transformers again."

I damn-near started a riot, as both kids demanded to go with me to see Transformers a 3rd time instead of seeing the movie about the cooking rat once.

Now, THAT'S an endorsement!

i'm hoping to treat myself to this and Ratatouille this weekend... I know it's everything I'm expecting it to be and I believe it'll live up to the tremendous hype...
