On my birthday Mrs.Smith will (ha)lead her band WickedWisdom on to the B stage at this year's world reknown Ozzfest. Ozzy himself must've seen her perfomance on Letterman recently too. I'll give it to her, the only reason her and the band seemed out of place was because it was a TV audience. She should've been further downtown at CBGB's. Hey, if Jamie Foxx could have cross over appeal into music why can't Jada, right?

i have yet to hear this band, but i've heard conflicting reports. i wasnt impressed with her singing voice when she did the hook on one of will's songs. but metal/rock is more about expression then vocal skills. i went thru a period of listening to metal. the lyrics are usually beautiful, but the yelling gets old. and i still like rock. so maybe i'll dig it.

Wasn't Jamie a comedian/singer before the movies, though?
Oh, and as an aside, CBGB's is about to be over, man. Couldn't pay their rent, so they're getting evicted on Halloween of this year.
